House Rules

In short, we ask that you be safe, respect the property, respect the neighbors, and respect the housekeepers.

1. BE SAFE
• Follow guidance on signs and in guest info regarding use of outdoor gear, including boating equipment, grill, and fire pit.
Supervise children carefully. An adult must accompany children in/on the water.
No fireworks. No fires of any kind except within the designated fire pit.

2. RESPECT THE PROPERTY
No smoking
No pets
No events, parties, or large gatherings
• Do not exceed capacity of 15 guests and 6 vehicles. If you plan to have more than 15 guests or more than 6 vehicles, you must request approval in advance, or you may be subject to eviction without refund.
• Do not flush any solid waste other than toilet paper down the toilet. Always use a strainer in the kitchen sink to prevent solids from going down the drain.
• Please keep shoes off inside, especially on rugs and carpet.
No parking on lawn or street. Sufficient parking space is available on the driveway (5 cars) and the near side of the garage (1 car).

3. RESPECT THE NEIGHBORS
• Keep outside noise down after 10pm.
• Do not wander through the woods or trespass into neighbors’ property.
• Neighbor complaints may result in eviction without refund.

4. RESPECT THE HOUSEKEEPERS
• Follow all check-out instructions.
• Follow all waste disposal guidance.

Parking

One space is available for parking in the garage. The space closest to the house may be used for parking. The space further from the house is used for storage, as well as for entry and exit with outdoor gear. The garage door may be opened from inside the garage.

Additional parking, up to 5 vehicles, is available in the driveway.  Please DO NOT park on the lawn or street. There is a septic system leach field under the lawn which could be damaged by vehicles. Street parking may cause neighbor complaints, which could result in eviction without refund.
